David joined Williams F1 in 1993 as a test driver, debuting in the World Championship in 1994 and securing his first victory at the 1995 Portuguese Grand Prix. He moved to McLaren in 1996, winning 12 Grands Prix over nine seasons. David also contributed significantly to the development of Red Bull Racing, helping the team secure its first podium at the 2006 Monaco Grand Prix. He retired from F1 racing in 2008.
David is a co-founder of Whisper, one of Europe’s fastest-growing media production companies, and Velocity Experience, which develops and produces branded corporate events. He is also the President of the British Racing Drivers Club, which owns and operates Silverstone Circuit in the UK.
In 2022, DC co-founded the More Than Equal initiative, aimed at creating opportunities for women to race in Formula 1 during the modern era. This program seeks to identify the most promising female racing talents and eliminate barriers to entry at the highest level of motorsport.
David continues to serve as a brand ambassador for Red Bull Racing, continuing to drive their Formula 1 cars at promotional events. DC leverages his extensive experience both on and off the track at popular global events.
