Malie is Psychological Lead and Co-Author on the A Lust for Life Primary Schools Programme, which is reaching one third of primary schools in Ireland (over 100,00 children). She is currently working on their Secondary Schools Programme. She sits on the A Lust for Life Mental Health Advisory Panel.

Malie left the HSE after 20 years in 2022, and has garnered experience in several corporate companies. Malie has a special interest in neurodiversity and is currently conducting autism assessments with Solas Psychology. Since 2018, Malie has provided duty of care and risk management for many TV and film production companies in Ireland and the UK for the screening and support of contributors and production staff during filming.

With her considerable experience of working with clients throughout the lifespan, Malie is fast becoming one of the leading voices in compassionate self-care in Ireland. Through her advocacy work, public speaking media contributions, Malie shines a light on mental health
issues and promotes meaningful wellbeing throughout the lifespan. Malie lives in Galway with her husband and two little ladies.

Malie is a warm, down to earth, and engaging speaker who blends her professional and personal experience to give practical support on many mental health and wellness areas to a variety of audiences. She has delivered hundreds of in person and online talks and
workshops to corporate organizations, educational facilities, healthcare staff, libraries, companies, and the general public. Malie is also skilled in facilitating panel discussions.

Dr. Malie Coyne is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Bestselling Author, Parent, and Clinical Psychology Lecturer for the Doctor of Psychological Science at University of Galway. Malie released her award-winning book “Love in, Love out: A compassionate approach to parenting your anxious child” with Harper Collins Ireland in 2020.
