Oliver Callan is one of Ireland’s leading comedians and rose to fame through his repertoire of impersonations, ranging from Taoiseach Enda Kenny to Barack Obama. The 31-year-old Irish satirist from Inniskeen in Co. Monaghan has gained a formidable reputation for the hugely entertaining sell-out live shows he’s performed across Ireland.
Oliver was the voice behind “Nob Nation” on 2FM’s Gerry Ryan Show and can now be heard on RTE Radio One’s “Green Tea” on Saturday mornings. Green Tea is currently Ireland's most listened to comedy show and Ireland's number 1 podcast on the iTunes network. “Nob Nation” broke new ground on Irish radio, being the first comedy series on RTE radio for over 15 years, since the end of Dermot Morgan’s Scrap Saturday in 1991.
Oliver has also written regularly for the Irish Times and the Irish Sun.
