Dil has over a decade of experience working as a HR specialist in the healthcare and hospitality industry and has experience of delivering workplace training in the area of Diversity and Inclusion since 2006. She founded Insight Matters with her wife Anne Marie Toole and with a team of over 100 therapists they have the privilege of supporting over 600 clients in Ireland and internationally.

Dil is a psychotherapist who works with individuals online and face to face, nationally and internationally. Dil is currently attending specialist training in Gender Sex Relationship Diversity and Queer Affirming Sexology and Psychosexual Psychotherapy. She works with adults and practices in accordance with the guidelines and Code of Ethics of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Dil is an accomplished broadcaster and journalist and for a decade she presented the award winning weekly programme “Global Village” on Newstalk 106-108, an Irish national radio station on the topics of social justice and mental health. Dil now present "Tuning Inward" on Dublin City Fm a weekly lunch time programme about finding meaning amidst challenge, returning wholeness and reclaiming the life that was meant of you.

Dil was honoured with the Lord Mayor’s Awards for her contribution to civic life and received the Irish Tatler Woman of the Year Award for her work as a Marriage Equality campaigner.

Dil and Anne Marie have two children and recently, they jointly made the life choice to become polyamorous and now in addition to each other they also have their respective partners. Dil’s partner, Caroline has 2 children, thereby expanding Dil’s family to 4 fabulous children!
